The Steps To Success
Always remember to...
-Respect each other.
-Be a polite and positive participant.
-Honor the ideas and opinions of others.
-Respect the space we share.
-Be prompt; be ready to learn when class begins.
-Be productive; turn in work on time, and always give your best.
-Value yourself. Be gentle, generous, truthful, kind, and brave.
Keep organized!
-Write your assignments in a planner, and regularly check Moodle at www.ewooster.org/moodle.
-Be prepared and come to class with your English materials.
-Form the good habit of having no loose papers. File them in the correct tab or folder.
Stay current with homework.
-Homework (HW) is usually assigned each day and should be completed before class.
-Late HW: fill out a Late Homework Form and return it, signed. Three or more missed/late assignments in one marking period earn you a Saturday Study Hall (SSH).
-Messy or casually-done HW will not be accepted.
-If you are absent, you are expected to complete missing work within this time-frame: one day for each day excused.
-All assignments are both written on my board and posted on Moodle. Most handouts are available not only on Moodle but also in the 8th grade binder in my classroom.
Iām here to help you!
Please see me whenever you need help with your work. I am available during AES and at other times by appointment.
